This Privacy Policy explains how Overstory Music LLC dba CueMachine Technologies (“CueMachine,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit cuemachine.com or use our software.

What we collect
- Email address: when you join our mailing list through the sign-up form on this site. Stored through our email provider, Brevo (Sendinblue SAS).
- Purchase information: your name, email, and billing details when you buy a license. Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record; we do not receive or store your full card number.
- License & activation data: a device identifier and activation count, used only to enforce the per-license limit of two Macs. Stored with our licensing provider, Keygen.
- Usage & diagnostics: if you opt in, the app sends anonymized crash and error reports through Sentry so we can diagnose and fix bugs. Our website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which records aggregate visit metrics only (see “Who processes your data” below).
How we use it
- To deliver the software, licenses, updates, and support.
- To send the product announcement emails you asked for. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe.
- To process payments and prevent license abuse.
- To diagnose bugs and improve the app.
Who processes your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We share the minimum necessary with the service providers that run our operations, each processing data on our behalf under its own data-protection commitments:
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS) — email delivery. Brevo Privacy Policy.
- Paddle — payment processing as merchant of record. Paddle Privacy Policy.
- Keygen — license issuance and activation. Stores your email, license key, and activated-machine identifiers so we can deliver licenses, enforce the 2-Mac limit, and re-send keys on request. Keygen Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — site hosting, software downloads, and privacy-friendly analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics records aggregate visit information (page views, referrers, browser and device type, performance timings) without setting cookies, fingerprinting your device, or storing your IP address for analytics. - Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) — opt-in crash and error reporting. Sentry Privacy Policy.
Cookies & tracking
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Our Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless and is not used to identify or track individual visitors.
Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. You can have your mailing-list record removed at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us; purchase and license records are retained as needed for support, warranty, and tax and accounting obligations.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA or UK under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any right, email info@cuemachine.com; we will respond within 30 days. Every marketing email also includes a one-click unsubscribe.
Children
CueMachine is a professional tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.
International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside your country (for example, Brevo is EU-based, while our payment and hosting providers may be in the United States). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the “Effective” date above and, where reasonable, notify subscribers by email.
